Hanging Fabric Baskets

So I have a little..okay a huge.. addiction to storage of all kinds. Give me boxes, baskets, cupboards, bags anything as long as I can fill it with goodies and I am happy! Storage is supposed to be a way of maximising space but in my house it is the opposite, I have so much storage I am now attaching things to the walls to make space for more.

These cute little hanging baskets are hung on a net curtain rail for Wilkinsons and useful but yet rather pretty. If you are going to fill your house with storage you have to at least use pretty storage, cardboard boxes are just boring! They only took a couple of hours to make but the pattern does need a little tweaking. I was inspired by a post at The Mother Huddle but wanted something a lot smaller for storing all those little sewing things that I need to hand.

I added a couple of extra hooks between each basket to support the weight and they are not quite strong but I would not want to put too much in them as I am sure it will not be long and the wall will fall down! It makes me wonder how many holes you can put in a wall before it collapses. Probably not such a good idea to try and find out though.
